INGREDIENTS: (SERVING-2)

  • Rajma – 1 cup
  • onion (paste) – 2/3 tbsp
  • tomato paste – 1 bowl
  • green chilli – 2-3
  • garlic – 10-15
  • ginger – 1 inch
  • bay leaves – 2
  • coariander leaves – 2 tbsp( finely chopped)
  • cumin seeds – 1 tsp
  • black cardamom – 1
  • cinamon – 1 inch
  • turmeric power -1/2tsp
  • kashmiri red chilli powder – 1/2 tsp
  • coariander powder – 1/2 tsp
  • cumin powder – 1/2 tsp
  • garam masala – 1/2 tsp
  • kasuri methi – 1 tsp
  • butter or ghee – 1 tbsp
  • coking oil
  • salt to taste

INSTRUCTIONS:

  • Soak the rajma overnight and boil it with 2 glass of water,1tsp salt in a pressure cooker.
  • heat a pan and add cooking oil , add cumin seeds bay leaves ,1 inch cinamon , 1 cardamom and fry it.
  • Add grated ginger and garlic,green chillies and fry it for few seconds.
  • Add onion paste and fry it for for a minute.
  • Add tomato paste cover it and cook for 5 minutes on medium flame.
  • Add turmeric powder,red chilli powder, coariander powder,cumin powder and mix it well.
  • cover it and cook it for 5 minutes keep stiring in between.
  • Add cooked rajma and 1/2 cup of water and mix well .
  • Add garam masala powder,salt to taste and cook it for 5 minutes.
  • now add kasuri methi ,2tbsp of coariander, 1tbsp butter, and mix well .
  • garnish with coariander leaves ,onion and butter.
  • ready to serve hot rajma with rice.
